I also wonder if this will eventually become a competitor to sites like Tumblr. It would be nice to see the "View My Profile" on the bottom right link to my Google+ profile.
It would also be nice for these blog posts to be a close relative to my Google+ posts in a manner that here is maybe where I get more in-depth, and that my followers here are also the people that have added me to their circles. This way my network comes with me and is not separated across to many platforms, especially within the same organization (Google).
